The open keystore can be closed. By doing so, you can't access all the disks encrypted with the keys from this keystore.
To close the keystore, choose it in the list of keystores and keys on "Keys" page and press the "Close" button on the right of the control panel.
So, close the keystore after you are finished using the data on the encrypted disks.
When you close Secure Disk, all open keystores are closed automatically.
When closing the keystore, some disks encrypted with the keys from the keystore may be busy (currently in use).
You'll be informed of this situation via a dialog box. The open disks will be indicated in it.
Here are some solutions:
- You should close all the programs using these disks and the files on them. After that, you should logout again after pressing the "Confirm" button. If the disks are still open, move to the next step.
- If you can't find the program that is connected with the disk, you can close the keystore manually. You have to press the "Force Logout" button. However, errors may occur in the work of the program on these disks.
- You may choose to close the keystore later by pressing the "Cancel" button.
