On the "Disks" page, the available disks and their basic info are displayed. You can encrypt and decrypt these disks by viewing their properties.
Basic info on the disk:
- Disk letter (for example, disk "C:")
- Disk size in MB
- Disk name (for example, "Local Disk")
- Type of files on the disk
- Disk encryption info
If you want to work with a disk, choose it in the list and press the program button on the right of the control panel, for example, "Encrypt".
For each disk, the following possible statuses will be displayed:
- isn't encrypted (all disks that are not encrypted)
- encrypted
- is being encrypted (the process of disk encryption is going on)
- is being deciphered
- cancellation of encryption (encryption of the disk started and then was cancelled)
- cancellation of deciphering
- encryption is stopped (the computer was turned off during the encryption process)
- deciphering is stopped
When you plug a new disk into the computer, for example, a USB Flash, it appears in the list of the disks automatically. When it's removed, it disappears automatically.
This page is available only if at least one of the keystores is open.
