Secure Mail is innovative email encryption software. Encryption key exchange is performed via the centralized Secure Mail server.
Secure Mail allows to exchange encrypted emails with the help of standard email protocols - SMTP and POP3. The program protects
your correspondence with AES 256-bit encryption which is used together with the asymmetric encryption algorithm RSA. Software uses a pair of linked keys:
a public and private keys. For anyone it's enough to have a public key to perform email encryption. The encrypted message can be decrypted with the
private key corresponding to the public key used for encryption. This allows to distribute the public key without any email security threats. Public
keys are stored on the centralized server. So, all you need is to write an email to the recipient and confirm your wish to send him a secure email message.
The software will get the public key from the server and encrypt the message. The secure key stored at your computer should be kept privately.

Secure Mail allows users to encrypt/decrypt emails sent or received via email clients. Software has been tested on
The Bat!, Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Office Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail (Vista). Secure Mail is quite easy to use and has a user-friendly
interface - it doesn't require any control or professional skills on your part. Email privacy encryption process goes in the background, messages are
sent as if there's no encryption software installed on the computer! All you have to do is to answer a few simple questions at the beginning of your
work - these settings will be saved and all further activity will be managed by Secure Mail itself.
You shouldn't worry about the email security, as Secure Mail algorithm will take care of it. The emails will be stored on your email server until
email client decides to delete them. If temporarily you would like to quit using the program, you should just exit it. After computer restart software
will start to secure emails sent to the selected recipients and transparently decrypt emails sent to you. |

Secure Mail acts as an intermediate email client between your email client and email server. Your emails first get into
the Secure Mail database and then to your email client, which may lead to some insignificant delay of email delivery if the number of emails is large.
You don't have to distribute keys as they are kept on the centalized server. Any person with Secure Mail and your email address will be able to
send you a secure email message.
